I've lived in Marysville all of my life. Some of my fondest recollections are of playing ball in the front yard with my neighborhood friends, riding my bike to the Dairy Queen to get an ice cream cone, and sitting outdoors with my folks on summer evenings so we could talk to the neighbors strolling by. My roots are here, my heart is here, my family is here. I wouldn't trade places with anyone.

Our fundamental values are often a product of the way we live. If we start viewing our homes as parts of a greater community, we will begin sharing with each other and reaching out to each other once again. I'm looking forward to welcoming people back to this simpler, friendlier, more satisfying way of life in Green Pastures.
